What we keep, and why.

A small amount of information, narrowly used.

Last updated 9 May 2026.

This site is run by Heather Florio. It is editorial — there is no commerce here, no third-party analytics, no advertising trackers. This page describes the small amount of information the site collects and how it is used.

What we collect

Two narrow streams.

  1. If you subscribe to be notified when something new is posted, the site stores the email address you provide. No name, no additional personal data.
  2. When you visit a page, the site logs basic metadata — the URL you visited, the page that referred you (if any), your browser's user-agent string, and an approximate IP-derived country. The originating IP address is recorded server-side at the moment of the request and treated as low-sensitivity diagnostic data, not as a personally-identifying record.

That is the entire collection.

What we don't do

Where it lives

Subscriber emails and visit metadata are stored in a Postgres database hosted by Railway. Railway is the site's hosting provider and the database is private to this site.
